AC Milan to make one final attempt for Aubameyang

By Isak Möller -

After Fiorentina’s sporting director openly said that Kalinic isn’t for sale, AC Milan have started to look at other options, with Aubameyang being one of them.

Gianluca Di Marzio, a journalist at Sky Italia, reports that Milan are planning to make on final attempt to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese striker has not attracted interested from many clubs, and Italian media suggest that either China or Milan will be his next destination. While China seems like the most likely next step, Aubameyang remains uncertain on moving there just for the money.

AC Milan are ready to offer Aubameyang a contract worth €8m per year, which would make him the best-paid player in the team. Should Aubameyang and his father accept this, then negotiations could start between Milan and Borussia Dortmund, who are looking to get around €70m for their striker. This is a fee that Milan seem ready to spend, as their other target Belotti, would cost more than that.
