AC Milan need €20million from Berlusconi for two targets

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have put all transfer negotiations on hold, waiting to finalize the deal that would see a Chinese consortium taking over the majority stake in the club.

Trouble is, the signing of the preliminary agreement has been postponed and money of the new ownership are not going to be available before the beginning of August, definitely too late for a club that need to rebuild the team and aim to qualify to Europe at least.

With the rossoneri hoping to sell Carlos Bacca for €30million, Adriano Galliani is trying to persuade Silvio Berlusconi to invest just €20million which would allow AC Milan to sign Mateo Musacchio and Piotr Zielinski who have a verbal agreement to join the San Siro outfit, but have not signed yet due to AC Milan’s financial struggles.

Leonel Vangioni and Gianluca Lapadula are the only two newcomers to have joined AC Milan in the summer so far.
