AC Milan ready €25m offer as Montella asks for Kalinic

Despite just completing the signing of 21-year-old striker Andre Silva, AC Milan remain interested in Fiorentina’s target man Nikola Kalinic, according to Sky Italia.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has asked Mirabelli and Fassone to sign Nikola Kalinic, who currently plays for Fiorentina. Di Marzio also adds that Mirabelli and Fiorentina’s sporting Director Corvino will meet in the coming days, where Mirabelli will present a €25m offer.

However, reports suggest that Fiorentina want €30m for the 28-year-old Croatian, although the fee is not expected to be a problem for a potential deal.

AC Milan also announced the signing of Andre Silva from Porto today, for a fee of €38m plus €2m in bonuses. The player has signed a five-year contract and will earn around €2m per year with the Rossoneri. He is expected to wear shirt number nine, which Lapadula wore last season, indicating that the latter might be for sale.
