In today’s edition of Il Mattino, the paper presents a list of fullbacks followed by Napoli, who most likely will see their current left-back Ghoulam leave in the summer.
The first name on the list is Alejandro Grimaldo of Benfica. However, the Portuguese team are demanding €30m for their fullback, which could be a problem for Napoli.
Along with Grimaldo, Andrea Conti (Atalanta), Jordan Amavi (Aston Villa) and Silvan Widmer (Udinese) are also on the list.
However, the latest player on Napoli’s radar is Mattia De Sciglio, who is set to leave the San Siro side this summer as he doesn’t want to renew his contract. AC Milan, on the other hand, are after Napoli’s left-back Faouzi Ghoulam, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the teams were to agree on a swap deal involving both players.
