Alessandro Plizzari set to join Ternana on loan

By Isak Möller -

After all, it looks like Gianluigi Donnarumma will stay at the San Siro. Therefore, AC Milan are looking to give 16-year-old goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari some playing time with a loan.

In fact, Ternana met with AC Milan representatives at Casa Milan today to discuss Plizzari, who could join the Serie B side on loan for next season, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

At first, it seemed Plizzari was going to become the new Donnarumma, as the latter looked set to leave the Rossoneri. However, Donnarumma will most likely extend his contract with AC Milan and therefore it would be good for Plizzari to get some playing time.

Talks are expected to continue in the coming days, and it looks like Plizzari will be a Ternana player next season, as there are no reasons for the deal to not go through. More reports on the matter are expected in the coming days.
