Milan defeated Rijeka 3-2 to grab a lucky win in their second Europa League group stage fixture. Andre Silva started the game and contributed to the positive result with a solid performance and above all a great goal.
“I have more opportunities in Europe. I managed to score so many goals thanks to to my teammates and my own work,” Silva told Sky Italia.
“Milan – Roma? It is not up to me to decide who will start in that game. My job is to be available to the coach and make myself ready when playing in order to score a goal.
“The blackout in today’s final minutes? These things happen in football. Sometimes you get so many opportunities and get punished. Our reaction was very good,” the Portuguese talent concluded.
Silva has so far scored 4 goals in the Europa League group stage. He also scored a brace in the preliminary round against Shkendija, but is still looking for his first Serie A goal, which could hopefully arrive on Sunday against Roma.
