Bacca: “I’m happy but I have to work harder”

By Alex Viola -

Carlos Bacca has struggled to score for months, but now has found himself with three in his last two outings.

Following the 3-1 victory over Chievo, the Colombian spoke to Premium Sport.

“I was going through a difficult time and not scoring goals, but everyone always let me feel their support.”

“It is very important to feel the fans, my teammates and the Coach support me. I am happy, but have to work even harder.”

On Friday, Milan have a massive match against Juventus, in what will be the fourth time they will meet this season. Milan have won two of the previous three.

“We need to take it one game at a time, today we won a difficult match and from tomorrow we’ll start thinking about Juventus.”

“Today I scored twice and I am happy. Now I’m going to go and celebrate my wife’s birthday.”

Bacca rejected a major money move to China in January.

“I have always had faith in myself and when Adriano Galliani asked me to come to Milan, I didn’t think twice. I want to stay here.”
