Bertolacci put up for sale as he’s not in AC Milan’s plans

Calciomercato.com claims contacts took place between Massimiliano Mirabelli, Alessandro Lucci (agent of Andrea Bertolacci) and Vincenzo Montella.

As learned exclusively by calciomercato.com, Mirabelli has informed Bertolacci’s agent that the player has officially been put up for sale.

The midfielder is not in the plans for next season, hence why this decision was made. Milan signed Bertolacci for €20m in 2015, but the midfielder is only worth around €10m now. Therefore, the Rossoneri would like to sell the Italian before his value drops even more. Bologna, Sampdoria and Mihajlovic’s Torino are interested in the player’s services.

Bertolacci has only managed to find the back of the net two times since joining Milan in 2015, despite being an attacking midfielder. However, this is not only because of poor performances. In fact, Bertolacci has been solid when fully fit, but unfortunately, injuries have destroyed his career at Milan. Safe to say he didn’t live up to the expectations created by the Milan fans after his outstanding season with Genoa.
