Bonucci: “Paulo Dybala is better than Suso”

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci has heaped praise on Suso, but believes former teammate Paulo Dybala is still ahead of him.

The Spaniard scored his fifth Serie A goal of the season in the 2-0 win over Sassuolo on Sunday, as he continues to establish himself as a fundamental figure for the Rossoneri.

However, Bonucci believes that there is a telling aspect missing in terms of experience to put him on the same level as Dybala.

“I think Paulo is stronger as he has been able to play more games at European level,” he told Premium Sport.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old missed an opportunity to face his old Juventus teammates last month due to suspension, as he spoke about his exit from the Turin giants and the beginning of a new challenge with his new club.

“There is a new book to be studied, a new chapter. I was with a group of players for six years and now Milan is different to Juventus.

“Some things should remain private, I can only thank Juventus for what I have become.”

After his initial struggles, Bonucci has been much-improved in his last two outings following his suspension, and he’ll certainly hope to build on that form after the international break.

  1. I’m affraid that Suso is going to leave us… it is rumoured that Real Madrid might activate the clause of 40 million, which in my honest opinion is pretty low for a player like Suso in todays transfermarket madness.
