CdS: Milan future uncertain for De Sciglio amid Juventus interest

By Oliver Fisher -

Mattia De Sciglio and Milan have yet to find agreement over the Italian defender’s contract extension.

De Sciglio’s AC Milan contract runs until 2018 and according to Il Corriere dello Sportthe two parties have yet to agree on a new deal.

Trouble is, Juventus are monitoring the situation of De Sciglio as the Old Lady’s boss Massimiliano Allegri is a long time admirer of the 24-year-old defender who made senior debut with the Rossoneri squad under the current Bianconeri tactician.

The Serie A defending champions tried to sign De Sciglio last summer and if the defender fails to reach agreement over a contract extension with his club in the near future, the Old Lady is going to knock on the player’s door again.

Juventus, in fact, are considering some new players to cover the right-back role as Stephan Lichtsteiner could leave the club in January or at the end of the season, whilst Dani Alves is failing to impress with his new team so far this season.

De Sciglio tops Allegri’s wishlist for right defenders and might consider a bid either in January or next summer.
