CM: AC Milan complete signing of 18-year-old full-back

By Isak Möller -

As revealed by Calciomercato.com late last night, AC Milan have completed the signing of Lenny Borges from Hamburg. The German youngster will play with the Primavera squad.

The report claims that the Rossoneri closed a deal at €800K for the full-back, who comes from the youth tranks of Hamburg. He never made an appearance for the senior team, but he has experience from representing Germany’s U18 squad, per Transfermarkt

Borges signed his contract with Milan yesterday, according to Calciomercato.com, ready to start his new adventure with the club. The transfer is yet to appear on Serie A’s official website, but delays are common as the site doesn’t update itself all the time.

Speaking to German media (via MilanNews.it), Hamburg’s sporting director revealed the player’s desire to join the club: “He expressed a clear desire and said that Milan is a great dream for him”.

This evening, Milan will take on Brescia at the San Siro in front of at least 50K fans. After last week’s disappointment, three points are a must to get the season back on track before the pressure gets too much.
