AC Milan fell to yet another Serie A defeat, their fifth in eleven games, as a Gonzalo Higuain double propelled Juventus to a 2-0 win.
Milan have now lost four out of their last six games (versus Sampdoria, Roma, Inter and Juventus) and their only win during this span was against Chievo Verona.
Montella’s Milan are struggling a lot as the pressure keeps growing on the young Italian coach. His team are clearly lacking the “winning instinct” as they have proven to be behind clubs like Napoli, Juve, Inter and Roma.
If Montella is eventually let go, who is the favorite to replace him? According to Calciomercato.com sources, there have been initial contacts between Milan and Paulo Sousa and he is the leading candidate to take over at Milan.
Even so, the Rossoneri still haven’t made up their mind on Montella, and they will seemingly move on with him for the time being.
Just sack Montella already, it realy clear he fails to inspire the team. Sousa would be a good fit, he played the 3 man deffence with fiorentina, but the diffrence between him and Montella is that Montellas team have no shape. And Montella refuse to recognise that Ramagnoli is better then Bonucci and Locatelli is better then Biglia and Cutrone is better then Calanic. Aside from Coni, Rodrigez and Kessie( who are gems) the rest are not needed and money that they drained down the toilet.
Why bring Andre Silva, when you didnt need Bacca because Bacca. Why bring Kalanic, when Cutrone is more Clinical. Why Bring Chanagolu when Jack is better, why bring Biglia when Loccatelli is on par and have a brighter future ahead, Why bring Bonucci when he dont fit the deffence, the dude marks space in 3man deffence, when you need to mark players.
Looks like he wants to be best friend with the players, he dont understand the club spent 200M and if they dont reach the CL the club will go to a hedge fund, and i dont buy the Fassone saying they only need to sell one player. The financing is just shady, the intrest rate on the barrowed money is high, they a big sponsor, and wont have any CL money, the china project will take years before the revenue comes in.
Mybe berlusconi did this on prupose to buy the club back for cutprice.
Not to mention, the sold Kukjca who could be back for Kessie, now they dont have back up for kessie. He plays Zapata, when last seasson Paletta(with al his fult) was clear starter ahead of Zapata, and played 30 games and played a key role.

He want to rotate but played the strongest in the europa league and the weaker players in serieA.
Then he played the strong players in serieA but didnt rotate them in Europa League.
He thinks Kessie is a robot, we all saw he was tierd for many games, but never rotate.

15points behind first, 12 points behind 4th place…. and we are almost half trough the seasson.
