CM: Milan eye Aleix Vidal as Conti back-up

By Grégory Leclercq -

Milan are in a stormy period at the moment, and nothing is looking too positive for the Rossoneri, which may force them to act.

The board and the coach are already looking to improve the squad even more by trying to get back to a positive dynamic.

It is plausible that one of the first spots the team likely needs to look at for improvement is on the wings. With Andrea Conti – first choice right wing-back – out for several months, it might be observed that neither Davide Calabria, Ignazio Abate nor Fabio Borini give the fans some required satisfaction.

And for that, it seems that Milan have set their eyes on Aleix Vidal, an FC Barcelona player who hasn’t had a perfect stay in Barca since he’s arrived.

Indeed, the former Sevilla FC man has been injured for most of his stint with the Blaugrana, and has never been able to show what he was capable of because of that.

Moreover, the player is often left out of the squad, just like was the case this week against Olympiacos in the Champions League and, at 26, it might be that he decides to turn himself towards a team that awards him more playtime.
