CM: Milan may sell Kessie in January amid Wolves, Monaco links

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are considering trying to offload midfielder Franck Kessie in January after his struggles this season so far, a report claims.

Kessie is one of a number of players who have not hit anywhere near peak form this season so far, with the Rossoneri having lost four out of six games to start the season.

It was claimed by La Gazzetta dello Sport towards the end of the summer window that the Ivorian was one of three players that Milan were looking to move on.

Last month, Calciomercato.com stated that Kessie is still considered sellable by the club’s hierarchy, but that the player is happy to fight for his spot and prove them wrong.

An update from the same outlet then reported that the future of Kessie ‘remains in the balance’, with Monaco and Premier League side Wolves – who were also strongly linked in August – still interested.

Now, Calciomercato.com are claiming that the Rossoneri are considering selling the 22-year-old in January.

For the moment the Monaco idea has faded, they add, meaning his future could be in the Premier League.
