Calciomercato.com are suggesting that English club Tottenham Hotspur are planning a swoop for AC Milan winger Suso in January.
There were reports that Tottenham were trying to purchase the Milan star over the summer, making a €23million offer, but the rossoneri were not willing to sell. In fact, they tied the player down by signing him to a new deal.
That new contract reportedly includes a €50 million release clause, which Tottenham are willing to meet in January. Milan is also considering a sale due to the team’s struggles and Suso’s inconsistent play.
Spurs is expected to make an official offer in January, however, it doesn’t seem Milan would accept anything less than the release clause.
