CM: West Ham make enquiry over Milan midfield starlet with eight goals this season

By Oliver Fisher -

Premier League side West Ham United have made an enquiry over the availability of AC Milan Primavera star Marco Brescianini.

Brescianini stepped up to train with the first team after he featured in the team’s pre-season tour in the US, and took center stage during an in-house game against Milan Primavera as he scored a hat-trick and left head coach Stefano Pioli very impressed.

He is very highly rated within the Milan system and is the captain of the youth side, but he appears to be attracting the interest of West Ham.

According to Calciomercato.com, West Ham have made an enquiry into the availability of midfielder, who plays a box-to-box role which sees him regularly contribute with goals and assists.

However, any potential of a deal going through rests on Milan’s willingness to sell a player who is contracted until 2024, and it is possible that rumoured new manager Ralf Rangnick will want to take a look at the 20-year-old given his tendency to prefer developing youth players.

This season, Brescianini has eight goals and two assists in 16 games across all competitions for the Primavera, as per Transfermarkt.
