Rocco Commisso, the owner of New York Cosmos, spoke to America Oggi about his interest in buying AC Milan, declaring that negotiations are still ongoing despite all the rumours.
“The negotiations for the purchase of Milan continue, despite the difficulty in personal communication due to the constant presence of an emissary. This, in my opinion, undermines the trust relationship that should exist in a complex, but clear, context like the current one.
“UEFA’s decision? This Milan has a tradition and a history of global significance and doesn’t deserve to be treated like that
“I will close the deal, but only on my terms – explained the Commissioner. But to be clear, first I have to have a binding agreement. I will never accept being in minority.
“The club must be mine because I believe I can manage it and bring it back to maximum greatness. Am I interested in other clubs?
“Buying another club? No. Milan is Milan, with a tradition that not all Italian or global clubs can claim.”
