AC Milan today met with the agent of Franck Kessie to begin talks over changes to his contract, a report claims.

According to Di Marzio, a meeting took place between the Rossoneri management and the agent of Kessie to reiterate his importance to the club.

The representative of the Ivory Coast international was reportedly there to discuss an agreement for a new adaptation of the contract, likely meaning a pay rise for the former Atalanta man.

Kessie racked up 55 appearances for Gennaro Gattuso’s side in all competitions during the 2017-18 season, scoring five goals and adding five assists in over 3800 minutes of action.
