According to Gianluca Di Marzio Massimiliano Mirabelli is more likely to remain at AC Milan than Marco Fassone.
As stated by Di Marzio, one factor is that Mirabelli has a close relationship with Coach Rino Gattuso. Another key factor which goes in Mirabelli’s favour is the fact that he’s taken the responsibility over the transfer market for Milan.
This is what Di Marzio has said about the chances of permanence for both Fassone and Mirabelli:
On the reasoning: “I think Mirabelli has more chances right now in staying, thanks to a very close relationship with Gattuso and because it is he who is carrying forward many negotiations for potential arrivals and departures.”
On Leonardo: “Also the arrival, which is confirmed to us as being Leonardo, will become the technical director and he could easily be facilitated by a figure like Mirabelli.”
On what’s to come: “The Board of Directors meeting on Saturday will certainly establish the composition of the organisational chart, but at this moment in time I believe that the future of Fassone and Mirabelli is unknown.”
