Di Marzio: Rangnick could finalize move to Milan next week – the latest

By Isak Möller -

After several months of rumours, Ralf Rangnick’s arrival at AC Milan could soon be confirmed. The German manager is expected to lead the youth revolution, implementing the RB Leipzig model at the club.

According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews.it), the upcoming week could be decisive for the matter as the parties could meet to finalize the agreement. After everything that has been reported, many believe this is just a formality.

Should the German decide to embrace the Rossoneri project, having expressed a few doubts initially, then we will know shortly after the meeting. If so, the work could start very soon ahead of the 2020/21 season.

In the meantime, Milan are preparing to resume the current season. Their first game will be against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semi-final, aiming for a spot in the final. The first leg ended 1-1, meaning it will be a tough task at Allianz Stadium.
