Donnarumma insists he is ‘calm and happy’ at AC Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has poured cold water on rumours he is set to leave the club, claiming he is ‘happy’ at the club.

Recent reports had suggested that the relationship between Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola and Milan director Massimiliano Mirabelli had broken down, with the 19-year-old linked to PSG.

Pepe Reina is set to arrive on a free transfer from Napoli in June, but Donnarumma insists he is happy at the club, hinting he has no plans to leave.

“I’m calm and happy, I go forward with serenity,” Donnarumma told Sky.

“We’re a good group, the celebrations yesterday [Sunday] are proof of that. We got a result we really wanted and it allowed us to forget about Thursday’s game with Arsenal.

“We succeeded and now we hope to continue like this.

“The Champions League? It’s a nice race, we’re there and we believe in it. We have a duty to believe and we’ll try to the end.”

André Silva got his first ever Serie A goal on Sunday with a 95th minute header.

“I’m happy for André Silva who has been looking for this goal for a long time. They were three key points.

“It’s a win which gives us great confidence in view of the trip to London. We’re going there with nothing to lose.”

  1. We shouldn’t allow Donnarumma to leave. NEVER. He is the best goalkeeper in the world, and has been for three seasons already. But some fans are just aggravating the situation talking bullshit about the boy.

If he leaves, it’s okay, but he has never said he wanted to leave. He has always said he love Milan and want to play here.

Maybe the club is willing o sell him, like it did with Kaka, and Ibrahimovic, and others.
