Gianluigi Donnarumma was the hero for Milan in their Supercoppa win, and he dedicated the trophy President Silvio Berlusconi after beating Juventus.
Donnarumma’s save from Paulo Dybala spot kick in the penalty shootout allowed Mario Pasalic to score the winner after the game had finished 1-1 after extra time.
“I cannot describe what I’m feeling and I don’t even know what was going through my head!” the 17-year-old told Rai Sport.
“We knew that we had to give it our all, we played on level terms with Juventus. The Coach gave us something extra. We try to do everything he asks.
“It’s a pleasure to win with all these Italians on the pitch, but there were foreign players too. It’s such a great feeling, indescribable!
“We wanted this victory and earned it with hard work. We dedicate it to the President. We don’t know if it’ll be his last trophy, but it’s dedicated to him.”
