Everton submit bid for AC Milan target Nikola Kalinic

By MaaxiAngelo -

Nikola Kalinic has been reported all summer as one of the primary targets for Milan to fill their urgent need of another striker. On Thursday the saga took a new turn, according to CalcioMercato.Com, as Everton submitted an opening bid for the Croatian striker.

The Rossoneri are long time admirers of Fiorentina’s Croatian striker, with coach Montella being a big fan of the player. No move has been made by the Rossoneri in order to acquire him though. However, that could soon change.

According to CalcioMercato.Com, Milan have been alerted as Everton have entered the race for the player and have submitted the opening offer of €25million, according to Sky Sports.

Kalinic has a release clause of €50 million included in his contract but Fiorentina have told the player that he can leave for €30 million.

Kalinic have previously this summer openly admitted that he wants a move to the Rossoneri, but the Rossoneri are, however, evaluating and negotiating with other potential targets.
