Footy Headlines: Interesting detail regarding Milan 2024-25 home kit revealed

By Oliver Fisher -

The latest shirt for the 2023-24 season only dropped earlier today, but some information has emerged regarding how the anniversary kit for next season will look.

Milan officially launched their new fourth shirt for the current season earlier today, or should we say fourth shirts given that two versions have been released to be worn in reverse order against Napoli and Monza in the next two league games.

Meanwhile, Milan are set to release another fourth kit next week which will mark the 125th anniversary of the club and there are early suggestions of what it could look like.

There seem to be two options when it comes to the crest, one a simple St. Geroge’s Cross in a crest with a star, the other a more intricate design saying ‘Milan Football and Cricket Club’ – the official title upon founding.

Then, there were also a couple of options regarding the thickness of the stripes, with one iteration featuring thicker vertical stripes and the other thinner.

According to what is being reported now by FootyHeadlines, the Milan 2024-25 home shirt will still use the traditional red/black colours and is likely to have the Milan gold crest to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the club’s founding.

However, this is for the standard home shirt and therefore not the anniversary shirt that will be released later in the season.

  1. Not a fan of a gold logo. It would look far classier with a regular Milan badge and golden wreaths around it or something else around the badge…
