GdS: Milan close to securing Lasagna from Carpi

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are doing their best to keep focussing on the transfer window, despite the likelihood of the Rossoneri‘s sale deadline to be extended to the end of the month.

The Diavolo is looking for a defender (Mateo Musacchio of Villareal), a midfielder (Piotr Zielinski of Empoli, though Sampdoria’s Fernando has yet to agree to his move to Spartak) and forward Kevin Lasagna of Carpi.

The Gazzetta dello Sport is claiming that Milan are very close to signing the 23-year-old striker, and are set to meet agent Massimo Briaschi today to agree to a €6.5million move.

Ironically, Lasagna is a childhood Inter fan, who scored against the club of his dreams at the San Siro this season. Oh, and it was pretty much the last kick of the game, which sealed a draw. You couldn’t make it up.
