GdS: Milan set sights on another Anderlecht talent after Saelemaekers

By Isak Möller -

In the summer, Milan will continue to focus on young players. The strategy has been clear for quite some time now and when the transfer window opens, the Rossoneri will try to add some talented players to the squad.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Milanlive.it), CEO Ivan Gazidis and his colleagues have identified Jeremy Doku as a potential signing. After the Alexis Saelemaekers operation in January, Milan could deal with Anderlecht once again.

The 17-year-old, who mainly plays as a right-winger, has emerged this season with the Belgian side. Despite his young age, he’s already a protagonist at the club and for Belgium’s U21 side. This season, he has 27 appearances in the league.

Therefore, Milan are following the situation closely, ready to reopen the axis with Anderlecht and potentially make a deal. For now, though, everything is on hold due to the Coronavirus outbreak all over the world.
