GdS: Milan’s probable XI against Bologna – Piatek keeps spot; no place for Paqueta

By Oliver Fisher -

Stefano Pioli is set to persist with Krzysztof Piatek up front for AC Milan’s trip to Bologna on Sunday, according to a report.

The Rossoneri will travel to the Stadio Renata dell’Ara this weekend looking to build on their 1-0 win over Parma and move back into the top half of the table in the process.

One area that the team is struggling though is scoring goals, and it was reported that Pioli had tested a key change in training with Rafael Leao looking likely to get the nod up front.

However, Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Piatek will keep his place despite his poor recent form, joined by Suso and Calhanoglu in the front three.

Franck Kessie will be dropped for Rade Krunic, with no place for Lucas Paqueta as Ismael Bennacer and Giacomo Bonaventura occupy the two other midfield spots.

The back four is as expected, with Mateo Musacchio once again partnering Alessio Romagnoli.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Krunic, Bennacer, Bonaventura; Suso, Piatek, Calhanoglu.
