GdS: Milan’s stance on star midfielder outlined as €30m PSG links are quashed

By Oliver Fisher -

There are currently no talks ongoing between Ismael Bennacer and Paris Saint-Germain over a summer move, according to one journalist.

Bennacer arrived from Empoli last summer for a fee widely reported to be in the region of €16million, and after a slow start he has established himself as one of the stand-out performers in a difficult season for the Rossoneri.

However, his recent exploits – which includes being named Player of the Tournament at the African Cup of Nations last year – have seemingly attracted the interest of PSG, with rumours their owner is actively pushing to get a deal done.

It was claimed by Le10Sport over the weekend that PSG sporting director Leonardo had even launched a €30m bid for Bennacer that was rejected out of hand.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolo Schira on Twitter, there are in fact no ongoing discussions between PSG and Bennacer over a move in the upcoming window.

In fact, the Rossoneri have made it abundantly clear that they have no intentions of selling the Algerian this summer at all.
