Interview with Milan team manager Giulia Sala

By Anthony Torgrude -

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to conduct an interview with the Team Manager for the Peppino Vismara Sports Center Youth Team. Giulia provided us with a quick interview and insight to the day to day workings of being at AC Milan.

Anthony: How do you compare the new management team to the old regime?

Giulia: The new management is working well so far, but the old management is a part of history that will remain in everybody’s hearts.

Anthony: Can you give us a bit of detail as to what you do daily for the club?

Giulia: I work in the youth sector of Milan at Vismara and I’m the leader of the emerging players. This is my second year with Milan and last July I acquired the UEFA C level coaching certification.

Anthony: What made you want to work for Milan?

Giulia: I have been Milan fan for quite some time, it is a dream to be here and this is only the beginning.

Anthony: Can you tell us if any of the players have bizarre pregame rituals they go through?

Giulia: I don’t know all the players personally, some may have prematch rituals, for example when I played if I didn’t have my head band on I wouldn’t enter the pitch.

Anthony: What was the environment at the club in the seasons before the sale to the Chinese?

Giulia: The environment and the media stories don’t concern me, I cannot complain about anything. I have been given a great opportunity and I’m happy to be party of this great family.

Anthony: What kind of influence do specific players have on the management?

Giulia: Things can change from one day to the next in every business. Everybody hopes to do well and regardless of the rest, we are working ell and I hope to stay here for a long time.

Giulia is a fantastic asset to AC Milan and we hope she stays with the club for a very long time. Please follow her on Instagram
