Keita’s agent: “Milan and Lazio have reached an agreement, now we will see…”

Following news regarding the agreement between Milan and Lazio for the transfer of Keita Baldé, his agent Roberto Calenda today came out with confirmation of the reports.

“Lazio have reached an agreement with Milan,” said Calenda, who also represents Marquinhos and Juan Jesus, before adding that Lazio has not offered Keita an extension to the pacey winger’s existing contract, which runs until June 2018.

It has been reported that Keita will be one half of a Laziale duo – which includes captain Lucas Biglia, which will be sold to Milan for a grand sum of €50 million.

“After a few months apart, we met with the [Lazio] President,” said the agent, in an interview with Sky Sport Italia. “They communicated to us that they have reached an agreement with Milan, so we realised that he is on the market. Now we will make our evaluations.”

“It’s difficult to know what the price is when it comes to Lazio. We talked about many things with President Claudio Lotito, but there has never been a concrete offer of a renewal.”

While negotiations are still ongoing between Keita’s intermediary, Milan, and Lazio, Juventus looms in the shadows seeking to add the Senegalese forward to their arsenal of attackers.
