AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has admitted that the timing of Krzysztof Piatek’s equaliser against Atalanta was crucial.
Remo Freuler scored the opened for the home side, but a brace from Piatek either side of the break and a Hakan Calhanoglu goal helped the Rossoneri secure a huge three points.
“This is a very important victory for us, as we had to give our all in order to win here and bring home the three points,” Kessie told DAZN.
“Piatek scored two decisive goals, but the one to equalise just before the break was fundamental.”
