According to Italian media, AC Milan’s technical director Leonardo is preparing a huge offer for Lazio’s Serbian star, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
In fact, as reported by La Stampa, Milan are ready to challenge Juventus for the midfielder’s services, as Leonardo has his eyes set on the player.
This January, Leonardo stated that: “If I were the sporting director of any top European club right now, the first player I would buy is Milinkovic”.
The newspaper claims that Leonardo is preparing a blitz for the player, ready to offer Lazio €40m for a loan (or €20m plus Bonaventura), with an option to buy set at €80m.
The same formula that the Rossoneri used to sign Higuain, although it’s unlikely that Lazio will accept such offer, especially if it isn’t an obligation to buy.
