Le10Sport: PSG director Leonardo makes €30m opening bid for Milan star – the response

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has placed an official bid for AC Milan star Ismael Bennacer, according to a report.

Bennacer arrived from Empoli last summer for a fee widely reported to be in the region of €16million, and after a slow start he has established himself as one of the stand-out performers in a difficult season for the Rossoneri.

However, his recent exploits – which includes being named Player of the Tournament at the African Cup of Nations last year – have seemingly attracted the interest of PSG, with rumours their owner is actively pushing to get a deal done.

According to the latest from French outlet Le10Sport (via MilanNews), Leonardo is continuing to push hard to try and find a breakthrough and land the Algeria international.

The former Milan sporting director has made an offer of €30million for the 21-year-old, but it is a figure that is deemed not enough by the Rossoneri leadership.
