Ludogorets 0-3 AC Milan: Player Ratings

By Ahmed Bdair -

STARTING XI

Donnarumma (6): Did what he needed to do and was rarely challenged in goal.

Abate (4): Started off badly after being booked inside 4 minutes for a rash challenge around the box and never really recovered offered little to nothing on either end of the pitch and was taken off at the 60th minute.

Bonucci (6.5): The Italian international and captain has well and truly found his feet at the club and is putting in consistent performance after another forming a formidable defensive unit during this calendar year.
Romagnoli (7): The other half of this successful pairing, Alessio put in a commanding display yet again.

Calabria (6): Played on both flanks starting on the left but then moving to the right when Ricardo Rodriguez came on. Was solid defensively in both positions but didn’t affect the game much going forward as he normally does.

Biglia (7): An effective performance from the regista, relaxed on the ball and recycled possession well.

Kessie (7): Moved the ball well and carried the team going forward. Started several counter-attacks.

Bonaventura (6): An average performance by the midfielder, recycled the ball well and almost scored himself but was largely anonymous.

Suso (6): Lackluster display from Milan’s main creative outlet, didn’t look himself but fatigue could be a factor.

Cutrone (7.5 MOTM): The Primavera product just can’t stop scoring. Yet another to add to his tally today as well as winning the penalty for the second. The 20-year old is asserting himself more and more every game.

Calhanoglu (7): Similar to Bonaventura, created the first goal but wasn’t as effective as previous games. Was behind the penalty call, though, and was voted MOTM by Whoscored.com.

SUBSTITUTES

Rodriguez (6.5): Was solid on both ends of the pitch when he came on and confidently tucked away his penalty shortly after coming on.

Silva (6): Held the ball up well and was very aware of his surroundings as he dummied the cross to Borini for the third.

Borini (6.5): Quickly becoming somewhat of a super-sub for the team, he converted his second goal in as many games to cap off quite the week for the Italian winger.
