M’Baye Niang expected to return to AC Milan

By Isak Möller -

Niang, who’s been on loan at Watford this spring, has reportedly rejected the possibility of staying with the English club, who could activate his €18m buy-out clause.

Sources close to the player have told ESPN that Niang has decided to return to Milan, after Watford announced that Walter Mazzari had stepped down as manager. Whether the winger will be a part of the Rossoneri’s future or not, remains to be seen, but it is possible that he could get sold in the summer.

Even if Watford were to activate the buy-out clause, it’s still the player who will have to make the final decision.
