Mediaset: Bundesliga leaders ready to replace key man with AC Milan striker

By Isak Möller -

Although he hasn’t had the best of starts this season, Kris Piatek continues to be on the radar of several teams, after a stunning first campaign in Serie A. Now, RB Leipzig are interested in the Pole, according to a report.

The Bundesliga leaders, who might part ways with their top goalscorer Timo Werner in January, are looking for potential replacements on the transfer market. As reported by SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it), they have set their sights on Piatek.

In fact, as the report continues, they are ready to make a move for the Milan no.9 if Werner ends up leaving. In addition to Leipzig, the likes of Bologna and Fiorentina are also keeping tabs on the former Genoa man.

It remains to be seen if Piatek will stay at Milan or not, although it seems he doesn’t want to give up after just 12 months with the club. Then again, everything can happen once the market is open and the offers start coming in.
