Milan target Nolito admits his ‘situation is clear’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan target Nolito has distanced himself from rumours that he will leave Celta Vigo this summer.

The Spanish forward took stock of his situation in an interview with Spanish publication AS:

“I’m happy with the season; for the team to arrive sixth and qualify for Europe League is a success.

“Also personally it has been a good year because I have overcome the injury in the winter, and been able to help the team and now I am very well.

“I have a great urge to help Spain in Europeans if Del Bosque will give me confidence and I will be included in the final squad. He has yet to discard two…”

Having been linked with a move away from Spain, the 29-year-old re-iterated that his sights are firmly set on the Euros and helping Celta.

“My situation is clear: I have three more years of contract with Celta and I’m happy. In my head there are now only Europeans and help the national team.”
