Central defender Alessio Romagnoli will likely miss AC Milan’s Coppa Italia clash with Torino.
Romagnoli did not train with the team on Tuesday due to suffering with “flu-like symptoms”, Milan TV confirmed.
The Rossoneri are set to take on the Granata on Thursday evening, looking to replicate some of the success from last season and possibly go one better by winning the competition.
Paraguayan defender Gustavo Gomez was reportedly in line for a start in place of either Gabriel Paletta or Alessio Romagnoli, so this news has likely made the decision easier for Vincenzo Montella.
