Gustavo Gomez has been negotiating a move to Boca Junior all mercato long and the Rossoneri have been adamant about the price point they require. Reports came out recently that meetings have reached a boiling point.
The agent of Gustavo Gomez was thought to have lost his calm during a meeting with Mirabelli, which he had hoped would persuade the Milan leadership into selling the player for less than they requested. Mirabelli is notoriously tough to deal with when it comes to these moves and in the heat of it all, the agent reportedly threw his chair into a window inside Mirabelli’s office.
Boca have made numerous offers to the club regarding Gomez and each one has been shot down as the fee associated is not what Milan expect to receive for a player of Gustavo’s stature.
Mirabelli came to tweet in an attempt to clear the air, and had this to say: “Regarding rumors of an altercation with the agent of Gustavo Gomez, I want to clarify that they are completely false. Market negotiations, now focused on outputs, we prefer to keep the workings confidential.”
