MN: AC Milan sack two youth staff members

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have begun their overhaul of staff as the new leadership begins their plan to take the club into a new era.

MilanNews.it has confirmed that Milan have relieved Mauro Bianchessi from his duties as the technical manager of basic activities and youth sector scouting.

Bianchessi still had two years left on his contract with the club, but Milan informed him that he was no longer needed.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have also parted company with Antonella Costa, who was the youth sector operational co-ordinator.

Rossoneri Investment Sport Lux have shown they are not afraid to make changes to the backroom at Milan, having shown 31-year club servant Adriano Galliani the exit door.

The former CEO was Silvio Berlusconi’s right-hand man for over three decades.

“After 31 years I’m certainly emotional,” Galliani told reporters after the completion of the sale.

“I was very pleased with Berlusconi’s words, and I was also moved by the long applause from my colleagues.”
