MN: Agent working on exit of summer signing; Milan could sign winger to replace him

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of AC Milan winger Ante Rebic is currently working to take his client back to Eintracht Frankfurt, according to a report.

We revealed on December 13 that Rebic made contacts with Eintracht earlier in December through his entourage to gauge the possibility of an early return, and he was photographed dining with his former team-mates last week.

The Croatia international arrived on a two-year loan with an option to buy set at €25million, but has racked up less than 200 minutes of competitive action.

According to MilanNews.it‘s Anto Vitiello, Rebic has been caught up in the extremely negative present moment of the Rossoneri, but has failed to impose himself on head coach Stefano Pioli.

Now, his agent is working to try and take him back to Eintracht, largely due to the fact he cannot move to another team as playing for three clubs in the same season is forbidden.

Milan would save on Rebic’s wages which are due over the next six months and could sign another forward to replace him, the report concludes.
