MN: Theo Hernandez available for Verona but unlikely to start

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez will make the squad for the game against Hellas Verona but is not likely to start, a report claims.

The full-back signed from Real Madrid this summer for €20million and made two appearances in preseason, one against Novara and the other in the International Champions Cup.

The latter saw him limp off before half-time in a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the United States, and he has since been on the road to recovery.

There has been suggestions that he could even return to the starting line-up for the trip to the Stadio MarcAntonio Bentegodi on Sunday evening.

However, a report from MilanNews.it states that although the Frenchman has overcome his ankle problem and is working regularly with the rest of the group, he is likely to start from the bench.

This means that Ricardo Rodriguez is in line for his third start for the season in the league, fresh off the back of scoring for Switzerland on international duty.
