Milan’s captain is coming off a rough year filled with injury and distaste from the fans but he has recently bounced back from the hard season with a few good performances and recently being called up by the national team.
Riccardo Montolivo played today in the friendly match up between Italy and Uruguay. The game saw Italy victorious by a margin of 3-0. The game also featured AC Milan’s star goalkeeper sensation, Gianluigi Donnarumma. After the match Montolivo spoke briefly with Sky Sports on the young keeper as well as on the future of one Andrea Belotti.
“I told Gigio what I think and I wish that he can be Milan’s goalkeeper for many years.” The young keeper is currently caught in the middle of a dispute with his agent and the new management on a renewal.
“Yes, I spoke with Belotti about Milan. Some jokes run away between us.” Another name currently on the list for Milan, whose parent club has turned down the Rossoneri’s offer.
