Napoli have joined Roma in the race for Suso, according to Gazzetta, which might spark a bidding war for the player.
Suso’s stellar campaign hasn’t gone unnoticed in Seria A with the likes of Roma and Napoli interested in signing the Spanish winger. Suso operates at the right wing and it is a position of need for both teams (Salah’s possible departure).
With José Callejón turning 30 earlier this year, it may be time to look for a younger replacement. Suso plays on the same right wing as Callejón and is only 23-years-old. Any deal seems unlikely as Montella and the Chinese see Suso as a key figure in the squad. He really fits into Montella’s style of play and has found his rhythm in Milan. It is unlikely that the player would want to leave for Napoli after finding continuity in Milan, and it is unlikely Milan would sell especially to a Champions League rival
