New meeting set to take place between Galatioto and Fininvest

By Isak Möller -

The sale of AC Milan has entered a crucial phase. The end of the exclusive negotiation agreement has been extended until the end of the month due to Berlusconi’s hospitalization for heart problems.

According to Italian press agency ANSA, Sal Galatioto will meet Fininvest in Milan on Monday to carry on negotiations.

A general agreement between the two parties is believed to have been reached already, though the China group represented by the American banked and Berlusconi holding company still need to discuss about the clauses to include in the deal.

The current rossoneri owner would like to have a written commitment by the Chinese suitors in which they confirm that they’ll be investing at least €100 million a year to strengthen the team after completing the club’s takeover.
