Official: Donnarumma and Romagnoli called up for international duty with Italy

By Isak Möller -

Roberto Mancini has named the Italy squad for the European Qualifiers matches against Armenia and Finland. Among the 26 selected players, two AC Milan players are present: Gigio Donnarumma and Alessio Romagnoli.

The manager’s squad list was announced on Italy’s twitter account this afternoon. The games will take place on the 5th and 8th of September respectively, meaning the international break will start after this weekend’s Serie A action.

Speaking of which, Giampaolo’s will be looking to bounce back from the disappointing defeat against Udinese, taking on Brescia at San Siro tomorrow evening. This time out, three points are a must to get the season back on track.

As opposed to Gazzetta Dello Sport’s report earlier today (via SempreMilan.com), claiming that Giampaolo is set to change his system, new reports from Calciomercato.com suggest that the Italian will field the 4-3-1-2 formation tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be enough to secure the first three points of the season for Milan.
