AC Milan have completed the signing of one of the best centre-backs in the world, Leonardo Bonucci. The Italian defender signed his contract with the Rossoneri at Casa Milan earlier today.

After just a few days of negotiating, Milan managed to strike a deal for one of Juventus’ best players, Leonardo Bonucci. The Rossoneri will pay €40m plus €2m in bonuses to Juventus, while Bonucci is expected to sign a five-year contract with Milan.

Sky Italia reports that Bonucci will earn €6.5m per year, while other sources claim he will earn even more than that, possibly making him the best-paid player in Serie A. AC Milan announced the deal on their website and on social media just a few minutes ago.

“AC Milan have reached an agreement with Juventus FC for the permanent transfer of Leonardo Bonucci, subject to medical completion.

Should the player pass the medical examination in the next few days, he will join the Club penning a five-year contract.”

Bonucci will join the rest of the squad in China for the ICC tour.
