AC Milan’s director of sport, Massimiliano Mirabelli, confirmed on Twitter that Gabriel Paletta has terminated his contract with the Rossoneri.
This means that the Italian centre-back, whose contract was set to expire this summer, is no longer an AC Milan player. Paletta has attracted the interest of many clubs, including Empoli, Sassuolo and Fenerbahce.
“The decision to terminate Paletta’s contract was decided by the parties involved. I would like to say goodbye to a fantastic man, as well as a footballer. An example of fairness, professionalism and loyalty. Good luck Gabriel,” Wrote Mirabelli on Twitter.
