Paletta on Bologna’s Transfer Wishlist

By Anthony Torgrude -

Gabriel Paletta has been both a blessing and a cursing for Milan this season. Paletta managed  a Serie A record high for red cards this season at 5, but incredible goals such as the winner in 4-3 Sassuolo game and strong tackles as well.

Paletta’s time at San Siro could be up as, according to MilanNews, Bologna are interested in taking on the hot and cold defender for next season. Bologna were linked with another Milan player earlier in the week (Bertolacci) and now seem to be interested in a raid of Milan players.

All the players Bologna have shown interest in have had one foot out of the door for a while now and would benefit AC Milan with a departure.

Paletta managed five red cards, six yellow cards, two goals, and one assist in the 2016 – 2017 Serie A season. He played 30 games and at 31 years of age his career is now on the downward trend. A move to a smaller club could be a way to revitalize the Argo-Italian defenders career.
