Pedulla: Kalinic agrees to join Atletico Madrid

By Isak Möller -

According to SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla, Nikola Kalinic has reached an agreement with Spanish side Atletico Madrid.

The striker joined AC Milan last summer and has since been a disappointment for the club. Despite this, the likes of Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are interested in his services, with the latter even finding an agreement with Kalinic.

Once Gameiro leaves Atletico Madrid for Valencia, then the Spanish side will be able to close a deal with Milan. Furthermore, then the Rossoneri will be able to sign Kalinic’s replacement, Valencia’s Simone Zaza.

Kalinic will most likely join AtleticMadriddi on loan with an obligation to buy, with the total cost of the operation set at around €20m. Milan will, by the looks of it, sign Zaza for the same amount and with the same formula.
